With more than 30,000 residents, Canyon Country is the most populous community in the City of Santa Clarita. It has an industrial hub, several neighborhood shopping plazas, and residents who enjoy plenty of open spaces.
Castaic
Thanks to its large, scenic lake, Castaic is the Valley's major recreation area, popular for swimming, sailing, fishing, boating and water-skiing.
Other areas of the Santa Clarita Valley include Val Verde, and the ranch communities of Acton and Agua Dulce.
